During the fall and winter months is when the CLPO Board spends a great deal of time planning for the upcoming season. One of the largest of the projects is the Minnesota Board of Soil and Water grant received by Clearwater River Water District (CRWD) to fund the Clear Lake project to reduce phosphorus input at the north end of Clear Lake – a project our lake association has advocated for many years. The preliminary survey sent in March was quite promising with over 41 yes votes in support of the proposed levy. A letter to all lake shore homeowners outlining the project and levy details was sent by CRWD.  Click the image to the left to view the letter. At the Spring Meeting, April 16, 2022, beginning at 11 am at the Watkins Village Hall, we will have a petition for lake shore homeowners to consider signing. Simply print the two pages, complete the petition, sign and either scan or take a picture of both pages and email to clpoinc - at - gmail- dot - com (please replace "at" and "dot" with the usual characters; this has been done to discourage spam) by end of day Monday, April 18, 2022. All petitions received will be shared with the board of managers of CRWD for their meeting scheduled on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. More details will be shared with an opportunity for questions answered at our meeting on April 16, 2022.
